YAW - Young Adults Weekend

YAW is a conference style retreat designed with young adults in mind. Through engaging seminars and worship sessions centered around Emotional and Spiritual health, Apologetics, and Missions, our hope is that Young Adults leave the conference more engaged and encouraged in their spiritual walks. No matter where you are in relationship with Jesus -

Brandon McColloch

Pastor, Professor, and Staff Advisor

Brandon is the lead pastor of Calvary Chapel Twin Peaks and a professor at Calvary Chapel Bible College. He serves at Thousand Pines Christian Camp as a staff advisor and lives locally in Twin Peaks with his wife and three children (10, 8, and 1). His interests include sports, books, and all things Christian—especially the Psalms and church history.

Kyle Bunyea

Associate Pastor • Sandals Church • Lake Arrowhead, CA

Kyle has spent the past 13 years working in youth ministry, passionately investing in the next generation. With a deep desire to see people discover their true value, identity, and purpose in Christ.

Mike Encoe

Camp Director • Thousand Pines Christian Camp

Mike Encoe was a knight at Medieval Times, and a youth pastor for 11 years. He has experienced camp from nearly every perspective—camper, counselor, youth pastor, speaker, Program Manager, and now Director of Thousand Pines Christian Camp. With an education in Christian theology, global missions, executive leadership, and over 20 years of ministry experience, Mike loves helping others think critically about their role in expanding God's kingdom. The Lord changed his life at camp and he’s passionate about creating meaningful camp experiences for others.

Rory Collins

Pastor and Staff Advisor • Mountain Hope Center / Thousand Pines Christian Camp

Rory, originally from New Zealand, has dedicated the past 26 years to ministry, initially serving as a youth pastor and now as the lead pastor of a local congregation. In addition to his pastoral work, Rory serves as a staff advisor at Thousand Pines, where he mentors and invests in the on-site team. With a deep passion for pastoral care, Rory is committed to helping individuals step into the fullness of their God-given purpose, nurturing their gifts, talents, and spiritual growth.
