Women's Conference
We know that your days are filled with busy schedules, commitments and responsibilities. Take a break from the busyness and come to Thousand Pines for a weekend where you can re-charge both spiritually and physically. Take this opportunity to hear some great teaching, to spend some time alone relaxing, listening for the Lord and reflecting amidst the beauty of our mountains. Let us pamper you with gourmet meals, professional massages, afternoon tea, and other special activities. You probably don’t need one more obligation, so our goal for this retreat is not to fill you with information or make it seminar-intensive. Rather, we desire to make it refreshing, encouraging and fun. If any of this resonates with you, we encourage you to call a friend or two and make plans to join us for a very special weekend!
Speaker
Susie Shellenberger
Author, Gifted Communicator and storyteller
A creative blast of energy + humor + absolute truth + an opportunity to solidify your relationship with Christ into consistent intimacy = Susie Shellenberger and her messages. She’s traveled to every continent in the world (yes, even Antarctica!) sharing God’s truth with enthusiasm and in fresh, creative ways. An incredible, powerful speaker, Susie delivers non-compromising messages that audiences remember for years. She’s committed to making holiness come alive for today’s generation and challenges her listeners to live in radical obedience to the Lordship of Christ. Susie is a former high school speech and drama teacher, has written 51 books, and receives more than 1,000 letters and e-mails from teens each month. Susie is also a former youth minister and the founding editor of BRIO Magazine. Susie is a keynote speaker at the Girls of Grace conferences with Point of Grace, and has traveled on tour as a speaker for Rebecca St. James and also spoken for Zoegirl’s Freedom tour.
In her spare time Susie enjoys walking her 10-lb. Miniature Schnauzer, Obie, making funny cards for friends and eating cereal for dinner.
We are thrilled to be able to have Susie back this spring at Thousand Pines!
