The Journey: Men's Motorcycle Weekend
Thousand Pines introduces our newest retreat: The Journey, a men’s motorcycle weekend retreat. Enjoy the scenic route from Thousand Pines Camp in Crestline to San Marcos Camp in Santa Barbara on your motorcycle with your brothers in Christ. Riders from inexperienced to expert are invited to join this journey that will span over 300 miles and take participants closer to the Lord. This retreat provides an opportunity for men with a common interest in riding to meet for fellowship and solid biblical teaching. The weekend will include engaging speakers, music, and riding. Bring your chopper, cruiser, sports racer or touring bike; all riders welcome!
Accommodations include overnight housing in camp cabins. Cabins are furnished with twin bunk beds and include sink & toilet. Shower houses are a short walk from the cabins. A lead car will accompany the riders for safety and will allow space for transporting luggage & sleeping bags.
Day Schedule
- We’ll start the event at Thousand Pines here in Crestline, CA.
- Friday night, check-in around 4pm.
- We’ll have our first session as a group around 7pm.
- Sat morning we’ll do a breakfast/devotional start to the day.
- The plan is to get on the road by 9:30am.
- Onward we ride to San Marcos Camp in the Santa Barbara mtns! (4-5hrs)
- The next session is planned to be at 7pm after dinner on Sat night.
- Sunday morning, we arrive at our final session at roughly 9am at
San
Marcos Camp. - We’ll conclude camp by 11am, and the guys can ride free!
- Guys who are coming from longer distances, are welcome to crash at Thousand Pines again on the way home.
