Helping Hands Weekend

Each year Thousand Pines sets aside Mother's Day weekend for a day of work and three days of fun, food, and fellowship. Hundreds of volunteers join us on the mountaintop completing dozens of important projects that prepare Thousand Pines for three busy and life-challenging months of summer ministry. For a very minimal charge and about 8 hours of labor, you, your family, and friends will receive five meals, evening programs of inspiration, use of the swimming pool, and a Mother's Day Worship Program. Got a talent or some free time?

Groups or skilled individuals who wish to volunteer their time and effort to advance the cause of Christ may contact the camp to arrange a volunteer opportunity.  Youth and/or adult groups often come for a day or two to do physical labor and enjoy "free" use of some of Thousand Pines' recreation activities on a space-available basis. Skilled volunteers are eagerly welcomed to work on projects that would often require outside contractors at significant cost to ministry. Your work for the Lord can allow us to direct His money directly to life-changing ministry.
