Thousand Pines Summer program is open to all individuals! Give your kids (and perhaps their friends too!) a gift of a summer camp experience that will be LIFE CHANGING!
THREE CAMPS TO CHOOSE FROM:
Junior Camp at our Ponderosa Accommodations: (grades 4 through 6): Open Registration weeks of June 22-27th; July 6-11th; July 20-25th; or August 3-8th. Cost is $270.00 (includes $10 spending money).
Junior High Camp at our Main Camp (grades 6 through 8): Open Registration weeks of June 29-July 4 or July 6-11. Cost is $320.00 (includes $20 spending money).
High School Camp at our Main Camp (grades 9-12): Open Registration weeks of July 20-25 or August 10-15. Cost is $320.00 (includes $20 spending money).
HOW TO REGISTER:
Registration is simple. Download this Health and Consent Form. Fill it out completely, indicating the week of camp. Send it to the following address with full payment. If you think you will qualify for a scholarship, send the downloadable eligibility form along with the Health and Consent Form along with 1/2 of the payment due. The deadline for scholarship applications is July 10th and forms will be processed while funds last.) Mail in your registration and your payment to the following address: Thousand PInes Camp, P.O. Box 3288, Crestline,CA 92325. Please expect confirmation of your reservation via email or mail. If you do not hear from us in a timely manner, please phone to make sure that your application has been processed.
WHEN TO DROP OFF and PICK UP:
Arrival time to camp is 4p on Sunday. Departure time is 10a on Friday. When you arrive at camp, please come to the main office to check in. (Counselors will not be available until 4p on Sunday to receive the campers. We cannot provide supervision for campers who arrive early.)
WHAT TO BRING:
*sleeping bag, pillow
*toiletries: soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, and chap stick, etc.
*a swimsuit and towel (no two piece suits are allowed at the pool)
*tennis shoes and a sweatshirt for cooler evenings
*shorts and t-shirts (no spaghetti strap type shirts), socks & underwear
*Bible and a notebook and your enthusiasm!
*Medications in a zip lock baggie with instructions for the cabin counselor
*Spending Money: see below for info:
Junior Camps: There is no cost for the activities at the Ponderosa Junior Camps for grades 4 through 6. Very little spending money is needed, and $10 of camp cash is given to every camper. There is a small general store where candy and toys are sold. If your camper would like a photo and/or a t-shirt, you may send them with a check for $8.00 for the group photo and $10.00 for the t-shirt or $18.00 for both.
Junior High and High School Camps: $20.00 of camp cash is given to every camper. There are 4 hours of free time each day. Paintball is $10.00 for a session and most other activities are $5.00: Mountain Bikes, Climbing Tower/Lo Ropes, Skatepark (if you need to rent equipment). Many activities are free – like the pool, football, volleyball, ping pong, foosball, etc. We have a malt shop and coffee shop that offer snacks for around $2-3.00 an item. The gift shop and craft shop are also per item: leather crafts, painting and designing your own t-shirt range from $3. to $13.00.
Group photo is $8.00 and Camp T-Shirt is $10.00. These are not prepaid. Students purchase these when they arrive.
