Memorial Day Weekend...
Think about the typical family vacation. First, you've got to
find a place with enough activities to satisfy the entire family.
Once you land on the location, you then have to scout out the
most economical accommodations and decide whether you'll cook
or eat out. Then comes the daunting task of planning the daily
itinerary.
This Thousand Pines Family Camp weekend is an amazing opportunity
to throw the planning to the wind and let us handle it all for
you. With excellent food and an abundance of activities for each
member of your family, everyone is sure to enjoy themselves.
But what really sets this apart from other vacations? It is an
"investment opportunity" for your family. Our goal is
to keep families together as much as possible, whether recreating,
participating in the Word of God, or relaxing, members of the
family have the opportunity to pour life into each other. Families
who stay together tend to stay together. Doing things together
on purpose is essential to building and maintaining bonds that
make a family what it ought to be.

GUEST SPEAKERS: CHRIS SIMNING AND RON MERRELL
Born with a nearly imperceptible case of cerebral palsy, Chris Simning was stricken with an extremely rare muscle and nerve disease in the eighth grade. After three years confined to a wheelchair, Chris experienced a miraculous healing. Through his first hand experience with the pain of life, Chris is a walking testimony that God brings healing in the worst circumstances. Chris has been a favorite speaker at our youth camps and we are so pleased to be able to share him with our families at Family Camp 08!. You will be moved by his story, challenged by his faith and by the end of the weekend, you'll consider it a blessing to have gotten a chance to know him. He's a swell guy and we're looking forward to a great time this spring.
